Pyramid Originals challenge?

Pyramid Originals challenge?
Anyone ever try something like this?
You get a group of people to buy the exact same speaker, in this case a 10" or 12" Pyramid Originals, and see who can get theirs the loudest.
It is hard cause they cant handle much power, and really are horrible subs in general. You could practically burp them with the deck alone. lol
Anyone interested in something like this?
They sell at Forest City Surplus for something like $30.
I'd love to see an event like this at a competition or something. hehe

This was done a number of years back before the board change-over, so I think the thread is lost.
At that time, it was a challenge to build the loudest possible system on equipment from XS cargo. XS cargo had a lot of bottom end car audio gear at that point in time, and the challenge was to see who could get the loudest with $150. That $150, was for subs and amps. Source units, wire etc could be whatever the person wanted for whatever it cost.
I don't know if the competition actually happened, I was in school at the time and couldn't afford anything, so I just watched the thread as people tossed ideas around from XS cargo's website.
It would be fun to actually do that.

Unfortunately i dont think XS Cargo even sells car audio anymore. At least not the one in London as far as i know.
LOL i'm actually running a pair of subs that were once sold at XS Cargo in my car right now.
Hoping to replace it soon, but the wallet commands me.

Hey hey hey, woah woah! I was simply saying that it would be a compitent woofer that the members are familiar with, and it is in line with the comp format that's being suggested. Call it the TF One Challenge. Bring that to shows with a few dedicated TF1er's and it'll get some attention. A mini-series like TV

It's unfortunate because I was really excited about the idea... some people just can't understand the concept of doing something for fun and seemed to want to ruin it with "what ifs"
