I used to work at a store (I'll not name just to protect it) that sold Pyramid, Pyle, etc. Not only is the stuff absolute garbage, but it's garbage to the point that the materials are worth more than the actual product. The markup was so huge that we could take subwoofer back and exchange it about twenty times before we even lost a dime on it.

Take the RMS rating that you think is so nice and divide by 10. That's what it can put out/handle before clipping and sounding like crap.

Take that money, and buy just about anything else with it. Hell, give it to me if you're that intent on throwing it away.

You'd probably be better off avoiding pyramid stuff like the plauge or like homeless people. I made the mistake of getting a pair of speakers by them when i was on a major budget. They lasted a short while then got binned....

If the difference between a pyramid product and a real brand is only a few bucks, go with something real like RF, MTX or something like that...

Yeah, it's thrustworthy, recently used 2 of them.

As a paperweight, is was really efficient holding the paper on the table and as an anvil, it's also good, just do not use a large hammer, it tends to bend at the second hit...

I don't think I've ever seen one bend... BUT I have seen their "aluminum" heatsinks rust...
