Just wondering, I am running some Infinity Reference 6000CS components in my truck.

Right now I am running them off of the front two channels, the rear two are unused, and the sub channel is running my 10W0's. Overall I am quite happy with the setup, but I was curious about something. I get max volume on my 9835 at about 26/35 right now. The sub gain is at about 2/3 and the front gain is maybe at 1/3-1/2. There have been a few times when I have wanted more volume, I was wondering if maybe I should bridge the amp to these components, or if that would be overdriving them? Infinity rate them at hadling 90 watts rms, 270 watts peak. Any input on this, as I have not used Infinity before and I have been quite impressed so far. Thanks.

I think you will be just fine. Wire it up and then reset your gains as usual.

With your crossovers and gains set correctly you will be just fine.
They are decently built speakers and with proper setup they'll sound excellent and likely a bit better than they do know. Midbass should be a bit improved so you may need to readjust crossover/EQ settings accordingly.

If you are running them loud for a long period of time double check the passive crossovers to make sure they are handling the power OK. If they start smelling really bad then you may need to turn the gain down a bit.

Thanks for the tips, Hardwrkr. I am not using the crossovers on the amp, just highpassing them off of the deck, and using the passives also. I already have very strong midbass, I just need to deaden my doors a lit more. I will keep an eye on the passives for sure, I think that amp bridged to two channels should do somewhere areound 75 watts plus per channel clean, hopefully.

I would predict it will be closer to 150rms+ per channel.
Specs say 100x2@4ohms bridged per channel.
That's at 12.5v and those MTX specs are going to be a bit modest as is.
