Adire Audio Tempest

Does anyone know where I can find an Adire Audio Tempest now a days? If not, suggestions for a replacement driver would be appreciated.

Hehe nice, but a little overkill for my application. I'm looking at a low wattage solution. It will be going in my car temporarily but long-term will end up in my house. Looking for something that gets extremely low, and does not require mass amounts of power when put into a large box.

Nice tho.

I have no set amount right now. I will not be running more than a 500W plate amp in the end. I would like to keep it even lower if I could build a bigger box to offset. I read anywhere from 250 and up would be sufficient with the Tempest with around 7 cubes.

You can get the Tempest-X from Exodus Audio (www.diycable.com). Kevin Haskins (owner of Exodus and DIYCable) is close to Dan and the Tempest-X works in similar alignments as the original Tempest, but has improved linearity.

Thanks... I don't see the Tempest-X at diycable.com though. I do see the Shiva-X. The only 15" woofer is the Exodus DPL-15...?

Anyways thanks for the info.

The Tempest-X sold out; a new shipment is expected to be in on February 18th according to the bottom of their intro page:
