question about Monster brand

is Monster Cable branded stuff actually any good?
any time i go to princess auto, it's all roughly the same price as dirt and as a result, most of my stuff is monster

4guage power kit was $20ish, 12guage speaker wire was about $10 for 50'
and 4ch rca's were $5

it's cheaper than any really cheap looking stuff i see everywhere else

Definately decent stuff, i got some things at xs cargo as well, i guess they just like to unload old stock to the "cheap" discount stores? Or perhaps a "trailer" went missing in the past? lol

anyone know where to buy this stuff?princess auto have it?

moop 01-29-2008 04:36 PM

they may or may not, it's in the surplus end of the store
most times i'm in there there's lots of monster stuff except the 4guage wire kits

ya the Monster cables are awesome, warranty is top notch, i've never had a problem getting stuff replaced, no receipt needed either.

monster makes good cables but most people don't need anything more than their entry level stuff. some of their products are stupid expensive and may be top quality, but for the imperfect human ear, they are absolutely overkill.

is stuff from canadian tire alright?like is there really a difference between brands?is a power wire pretty much a power wire no matter and same with rca's? i always thought an rca was an rca.

i would say so, but i dont think car audio manufacturers would agree for some reason

i just bought some 1/0 welding cable @$2.30/ft and 6 ring terminals for it @ $1 each

try doing that from a car audio company :P
