Question About Pioneer Champion Series Pro TS-W3002D2|D4

http://www.pioneerelectronics.ca/POCEN/Products/Car+Audio+Video/Subwoofers/Champion-Pro/TS-W3002D2|D4

I've owned two of these subs before, and i was happy with them.

I am buying the same ones, only 4 this time Dual 4 ohm, 1000 Watt RMS 3000 Max, i would like to know what amp/or 2 i could run safely on these subs.

Thanks in advance.

basically you'll need an amp stable at .5 or 2 ohms that does 4000 rms at that impedancem or 2 amps that do 1000 @ 1 or 4 ohms. how much are you planning to spend? typically big amps aren't the cheapest, and also require upgrades to your electrical system as well.

I have the know how of my electrical, just not amps and ohms. lol

I am doing it over time, not all at once so right now i'm just collecting parts, starting with a battery, alternator and the headunit, I'm going to have at least 2 Runs of 1/0 AWG, and The big three

Thanks alot for the info

So i would be able to run all 4 woofers from a single amp that is .5 or 2 ohm stable with 4000 rms? What amp do you recommend?

get 2 audiopipe AP30001ds run them at 4 ohm bridged each for 2000rms or if your electrical system will take it 1 ohm bridged for more powaa

there cheap amps can be had for about 300-400 BNIB

I read about the Lanzar Optidrive 2000d. Stable to .5 Ohms and puts out 1950W.

The reviews are pretty good, what do you think?

I can get one new off the net BNIB for 330+ shipping

I think i will end up trying the optidrive, if im not happy ill give the audiopipe a shot!

Thanks guys

So far my Big 3 is the only thing done, I'm going to be buying a H/O Iraggi Alternator and at least 2 runs of 1/0 awg with a Kinetic power cell in the front and back. with all my distro blocks etc etc, i usually used to cheap out on my system, but im putting this system in my gfs 98 jetta in a wall, so she will be loud!
