Question about price of older A/D/S gear

Ok, I have a set of 8" AS8 woofers one is brand new in box the other looks in great shape but doesn't have the grill or anything. I think these are a lower end A/D/S woofer but I'm not sure I know nothing about them.

What would be a approx value for each of them? I'm thinking about selling but I want to be fair and not rip off or get ripped off.

Well, drivers don't hold their value as well as amplifiers and with the AS8's at 10yrs old and the others even older I'm sorry to say they are likely worth what you are willing to let them go for.

Once and a while I see someone on a board looking for older A/D/S gear so if I were you I would keep an eye out for those guys. Either that or search Ebay's history and see what kind of money the stuff is getting.

Your 8's retailed for $129USD back in 1996 so they weren't real expensive even then. The 12" should fetch a decent price for someone with a hard-on for old A/D/S gear and in need of a good SQ 12".

I totally understand about depreciation when it comes to this gear. I figured on shooting for $50 for the pair of AS8's but didn't know if that was a reasonable price or not, checking ebay even the completed auctions I couldn't find any that have sold and I've been watching for awhile now.

but the other nicer set I'm just debating on keeping them since they are a pretty nice SQ setup and hard to come by especially in a set. Maybe when I retire from the world of huge ported boxes I'll have to bring out these old school subs and see what setup I can make with them :)
