Hi guys.

Here's the scoop. Im running a Creative Muvo2 MP3 player into a Precision Power EQ/Preamp (the MUVO had a headphone output, the Precision Power unit takes standard l/R RCA's). From there it is going to my two amps and powering my system.

Im awaiting the mp3 player, its in the mail, but I have a question. Is the headphone out on the mp3 player similar to an RCA connection? I bought a little adapter to go from RCA's to a mini plug.

From there, can I adjust the gain on my preamp, and then control the volume on the mp3 with decent results? Or do I need any sort of converter or such to run it with decent sound quality.

Basically im curious if my headphone out is similar to an RCA connection!
