So i sold my MTX 6000's yesterday and im looking to get something new but stay around the same budget. Im looking at the new MTX MZS 1004 Subs. They look pretty sweet and are at a reasonable price (not much more than what i paid for my thunder 6000's) What im asking is if anybody knows if these subs would impress me more than my 6000's and get louder than them. Im a big SPL guy and love hittin the sound offs, i need some subs that will break the 140db mark and im on a limited budget. Will two of these 10" subs be capable of it runnin off say a MTX 6500D?

Well heres what im pickin up next week hopefully 2 MZS1004 + 1 MXA 4001. Will the 4001 power those tens good enough or should i look at something different. Well actually heres one for u guys. My gift for graduation is that my mother will buy me a brand new amplifier with a value up to 500$ so if its 499$ im paying the taxes. So is there anything that FS sells that is under that price that will give those subs more than enough power?
