Well, its time for me to say Bye to CCA. I have been here a long time. Lurking in the shadows and occaisionally actually saying something.

But I have had enough of the attitude of some of the members here. This place used to be pretty cool, but it has sure been sliding downhill the last few years.

Check out this thread:

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/ubb/...c;f=2;t=006696

You know, its stuff like this that is ridiculous. I have seen this type of thing many times before. My visits to CCA have reduced because of things like this. Since I dont come by much any more, I might as well not come by at all.

What happened to the good old days when no matter what somebody had it was cool? Hmm? You know, like nice stuff, good luck selling? Responses like the ones to my for sale post are childish and immature.

Now I know some of you are going to say I am going overboard (Shut up Underdogg & Whelz) but like I said, I have seen this type of thing many, many times. I just hope some of you (And no, its not just the ones who responded to my thread) smarten up. How do you think new members are going to feel if they get responses like this?

You arent helping the industry, the board, or yourselves.

Chow folks. Thanks again for the good times. Thanks to the good members here. (You know who you are.... The list is long) You know, its sad to see a few bad apples f*ck it up for others.

Signing off. Wait till I build my 6x9 car!
6x9's RULE!!! Yeah!!!

Even though it's true that the minority crowd mess stuff up for it, can you not be a little more tolerant of it?

:(

Honestly, I can't really Blame him for leaving.. I'v done it before and have considered doing it again...

Sorry to see ya go.

Cheers, I'll agree that sometimes there are some less informed people out there. But this board is a portal to meet people, share our love of the industry and express opinions. Sorry to see you go....

I have been tolerant for years. You know, I dont come by much as it is anymore, and I really dont see much point.

Trust me, I have been around the block in this industry, and I know how much fun it can be. And I know there are tons of good people too. But the friends I have from here are friends I have in "real" life and they of course will continue to be good friends. I certainly appreciate your efforts, but I have been here since near the beginning, and I have had enough.

Hopefully efforts can be focused on making this a more enjoyable place for newbies, and to keep up the positive attitude towards car audio and mobile electronics.

For now, I play quietly in solitude, but someday I may return.

consider the sources, look a the guys that gave you a hard time. thye act the way they do because they know no other way. you leaving as sad as it sound is like a victory to them, they acted like an a$$ long enough for you to finally give up. if you must leave, leave, but not because some little barf buckets pestered you into it

Sorry to see you go 6X9, I have enjoyed reading your posts over the years, although they were few and far between. Sad to see a fellow hardcore SQ'er leave, wish you the best in the future.
