Illegel in Ontario and the law has devices to detect them if you are using them beprepared to be stopped and for the cops to search your car!! fine is $500 if your caught
|
^^ That is true although I can't remember the name, there are ones that recently came on the market that can't be detected by police detectors.
Also, there are devices you have that can detect a radar detector detector...lol. Meh...most chances are they'll just take it away. |

Any decent detector comes equiped with some sort of VG2 stealth technology, this detects the police unit and on cheaper units gives a warning and then shuts off, or in the case of the escort 7500 and 8500 shifts into a higher detection band making itse;f invisable to the police units.

I used to use my uniden all the time .. it had vg2 stealth never got stopped to be searched for it.
