Looks like mdf, but you could fiberglass. If you don't use the risers, you'll have to fiberglass the bottom fo sho.

Hey Dodgeram,how many feet of power wire did you use to run from your battery to amps under your back seat?I picked up a Scosche wiring kit from Wal mart for $40.It is for 2 amps.It comes with 14' of 4ga.,6' of 8ga.,4' 8ga. ground cable,4-8 distribution block,fuse holder with fuse,17' remote wire,2 17' RCA cables.Is this enough?The only thing i'm concerned with is the 4ga. power cable might be a bit short.It came in in one of those clear plastic packages with the edges melted together so if you open you can't return it(I hate those).What do you think,am I good to go or do I need more?

What is the best way to run the speaker wire out of the box.I read some people use bolts but now I can't find the post.I don't want to just run the wire through a hole.So it's either use a nut & bolt or a terminal.Is the only reason to use a nut & bolt to save money?

Do you know of anywhere in the lower mainland where I could get a nice set like that.Radio Shack does'nt carry them.
