of course the audison ones sound better... Italian copper sounds much different than american copper, and so much better than that chinese copper... come on guys.. everyone knows that!
as someone once said "some people say they can hear a differece, but can't prove it. I can fly, I just choose not to"

Rule of thumb is............. "your RCA's should cost more then your whole system in total". If not, you know nothing about car audio......... you are then a likeness to a penguin walking around in Mexico. Never show you system to anyone ......... EVER.

Take for example, audison sonus RCA's Solid brass end, platinum coated, split tips, double drain wire, double twisted, textile casing (makes it easier to work with), and balanced directional signal, manufactured in itally by people who understand Signal quality. Can your $20 RCA made by a 4 year old korean slave labourer claim that.
Oh, what the heck......
I have done some blind A/B testing of different RCAs in the past and I have heard some big differences, some I liked better than others, some inexpensive cables sounded better in a particular system than expensive ones to me -- just because some people cannot hear or appreciate a difference, does not mean that there is not one or that it is not worthwhile to someone else.
That being said, I believe in "good" cable of reasonable pricing. For example $2-$5 per foot for speaker wire seems reasonable to me. $30-$100 for an RCA makes sense to me too.
Some RCA's I have like have ranged from $20 to as high as $200
One example of a RCA I liked was Nordost flatwire, which provides a midrange "bump" to systems that need it. Or Rockford "Triple X" which seemed very "open".
For wire in home audio I like to biwire using high strand 12 gauge for base and twisted 16 gauge for treble.
Ok, let me put on my flame resistant suit..... ok, it is on -- flame away!

Hey, if you got the money get what you want. I have never been able to detect any difference with my ears, so I use $10-20 stuff. I suggest you try to do some listening comparisons for yourself and decide on what sounds best to you. As for noise, proper routing and grounding seems to do the trick. I have used the cheap Recoton stuff from F.S. in lots of installs with no detectable noise(once I routed and grounded properly). Anyway my .5 cents.
I like the Audison Connection as well and Monster makes some great cables. Can you measure the difference between cables, no. They do sound different.
When I worked for Monster Cable we would do listening tests all the time and in the perfect enviroment you could hear a difference, in a car at 100 kmh, no. If your system is worth 10K spend 1K on cables, why not have the best. You want a twisted pair no matter what, it just makes sense when you consider the audio path.
I would use the Audison Best series, twisted pair but not out to lunch on cost.
