Re did the system

After I had to send my Mach 5's back for warranty work I re assessed what I wanted from my system. I loved the way the JL's sounded so when two is good, four must be great right?

So I have dealt a lot with the local Visions in Kamloops and decided to give them the work. I wanted it clean looking. I was willing to sacrafice my trunk if need be but they ended up using the wheel well as saved the majority of my trunk...bonus!

So the new system now consists of:

Alpine CDE-9886
Imprint Kit
CDT ES-620 fronts
Alpine MRP-M600 for fronts
Alpine MRP-M2000
4 x JL 12w3v3
Stinger RCA'S
0/1 wiring
Stinger 5 farad cap
75 ft3 of deadening so far

I've got two of the grills, haven't put them on yet. Two more on order.

The cone seprated from the voice coil. But oh man did they sound good before that. I think it was a one off. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone.

Looks neat and clean, but not sure how useful it'll be even with grills on. I can't see myself tossing anything other than bags of cotton wool in the trunk with my subs like that. That aside, it should sound really good with the equipment you have.

I put the grills on today and they dont protrude much from the box so I may get a heavy carpet should i want to put something in there. fortunately the car use is geared around audio only so i never accounted for needing trunk space, it was just a bonus

hahaha, who needs a trunk anyway. Isn't that what the back seats for? lol

Install is tight! Hope it sounds as good as it looks. If you have rear speakers & haven't already done so, you might want to add something to protect them from the subs. A cover over the rears of the rear speakers of some sort.
