Remote control wire question, please help:)

Hi, I have a blue and white wire with a label that say remote control wire in the back of my Pioneer head unit.

I have a RCA wire with a remote control wire, but it's not 2 wires like the remote control wire that is comming from out of my head unit. But I think the blue and white wire..are torsaded togheter... is it okay if a solder my rca that has 1 wire for the remote control wire with the 2 wires coming from the head unit?

In less words, my wire for remote control is 2 wire. And the wire that is with my RCA wires is only 1. Does is matter? Because I think the 2 wires blue and white.. are joining togheter on the little piece of metal.. that I can solder my RCA remote control wire on..

Please tell me if this is okay?

Thanks,

Solder it to one or the other and you'll be fine.

The Pioneer deck should have a single blue/white wire coming out of it labelled Remote Control. Connect this wire to the remote-on wire for your amp.

If you have a power antenna, it is connected to this wire as well.
