Hey Gents,
I was wondering how the 'resale value market' is for car audio? I have a 1.5 year old Pioneer GMX564 amp(withbox/receipt/manual/etc.) and am wondering what to expect when I sell. I'm looking for a nice 2 ch. amp for my front stage (120 wrms). Any ideas? (I paid over $300 Cdn. for it new and it's listed at $160.00 US). Cheers... |
See what they are selling for on Ebay and that will give you a ball park figure of what to list it for..
And usually a Manufacture only warrantees the unit with the original owner.. and its 1.5 yrs old.. [ July 06, 2004, 03:16 PM: Message edited by: Rockney ] |
You can usually get a better price by selling it offline, just to someone you work with or in your neighborhood, because selling it to someone online, well they've seen it sell for $2.37 on some obscure website so they won't give you a penny over $2.37. Unless it's something special or in demand at the moment. You could always try the ever popular 'list it for $9000 and let them bargain you down to $80'

Hi guys
Thanks for the opinions. I guess I shouldn't be holding my breath for a great price. I'll most likely have to make the sale with a free install (including all the install accessories). Oh, for the love of sound.... |
