Rockford T1 or Alpine Type R?

Heya, I'm planning on getting a single (or dual) 12" Rockford T1 or Alpine Type R subs, and I'm wondering which one is better. I want a sub that's able to hit the lows and pump out some decent SPL at the same time. I'm not looking for a system that can do 120db+, i want something that has some decent SPL and quite a bit of SQ at the same time. Which one would you recommend?

Btw, i'm willing to take in consideration of other subs as well, feel free to recommend me something

The T1 is not an SQ woofer. It is purely a SPL woofer that is designed to play loud and low. If you are looking for a street loud woofer that can sound good as well, the Type R is a better choice.

If you want to get a great woofer check out the Rockford P3, It is the best value woofer in the Rockford line up.

Cheers
