Yup. Ordered a radar detector last Friday and hmmm still have not got it. Norm Ross called me today to let me know what was happening. Well I should have my radar tomorrow and it seems that Mitek has either partnered with or bought SCL. This should make quite the difference to the Canadian marketplace if they follow the same path that Rockford Corp did. Wait and see I guess.

interesting, doug and rick spent alot of time building that company, kind of a shame whats happened with the new owner-s

nobody knows what is going on so quit with the speculation.

I just received a pm about a warranty concern. The company will be up and running again shortly and I'm sure that any warranty concerns will be looked after, might be a little delayed but SCL Products should surely look after their customers.

i know the doors are locked and nobody is at work, no speculation there, and im sure everyone will be taken care of, never doubted that, scl has always been a classy compant to deal with, i just wondered what was going on so, this forum is for open discussion and if we choose to speculate, so be. one thing for certain, they way mtx has been distributed in canada is most certainly going to change

And one of us actually did have a return phone call from SCL today and did actually have a conversation with those involved, so sorry to say but no speculation there.
