Sealing inside of sub box help??!?!?
 
hey i want to line all the seams inside my box and i know its a big nono to use silacone so what do you guys use?

yes that is a good thing to do. I always silicone the inside seams.!

Whats wrong with Silicone???? I've always used silicone, even with a glued and screwed box, just to be sure.

I would run nice bead in on all the seams and go in with a pair of rubber gloves to finger it around and make sure every seem perfectly filled. :D

I was once told that when silicone cures the gases that it emits can do something to the rubber surrounds on speakers. So, I just wait until its fully cured before installing the sub. Other than that, I've always used Silicone. :dunno:

ive just remeber reading as well as being told not to use silicone but by the sounds of it i guess i will

the gases have stopped being released 24hr after initial use.
a worrisome person would wait 2 days
