I spent 1/2 a day last week travelling the local pawn shops to see if there was a hope in a warm he** that I could find a Rodek "E" series amp.

Not only did I not find one but learnt very quickly how much pure unadulterated GARBAGE is out there. The best laugh was one shop that wanted $700 for a Power Coustic amp that was probably only $250 NEW. LOL There was also one guy that wanted $650 for an Alpine MRD 1005 that looked like someone had used it as a parking curb...

How about one guy that had an Ultimate amp for $199 that's beat up that Smartass was selling for $100 shipped?

The Rodek "E" series search has never looked bleeker...

I've currently got 3 Rodek "E" series amps and I'm hoping to build a show car type system with them. I had a competition car with these amps in the early 90's or so and they're just my favorite old school amp. I guess the dream is fuelled by the fact that I'm regressing. I'd love to just pick up 2 or possibly even 3 RA2150's (2x150 or 1x500 at 4 ohms, Steve Mantz verified that they were of course much more powerful than that) I'm willing to work with anything that I can get though.

They were built by ZED audio back in the day. Very rare, it would seem. There are some pics of some on the realmofexcursion web site if you'd like more info.

I read this post earlier and then stumbled across a couple on Canuckaudiomart. The guy doesn’t have 3 RA 2150’s, seems he only has one, but there are a bunch of others! Check it out!
