very budget components

I really want a set of components for my 2010 elantra touring, but me and my wife are expecting our second child, so I was looking on ebay for some cheap components and saw the following

ROCKFORD FOSGATE R165-S 6.5" 2-Way Component System Car Audio Speakers/ R165S | eBay

NEW KENWOOD KFC-P709PS 6.5" 2-Way Component Speaker System 6-1/2" | eBay

New Soundstream PC.6 6.5" 120W 2-Way Picasso Series Car Component Speaker Set | eBay

PIONEER TS-A1604C NEW 6 3/4" COMPONENT SPEAKER TSA1604C | eBay

CRUNCH GRP6.5C CAR AUDIO 6 1/2 COMPONENT SPEAKER SYSTEM | eBay

Power Acoustik XP2K-60C 300 Watts 6.5" 2-Way Car Component Speaker System 6-1/2" | eBay

Soundstream SC-6T 6-1/2" Arachnid Series Component Speaker System | eBay

ZEUS 6.5 SHALLOW MOUNT COMPONENT SYSTEM | eBay

As you can see these are all under $100, but I wanted your opinions as to what you think would sound good for the money, these will be amp powered ( RF P400.4 so 50wx4 at 4 ohms)

I would go with a decent set of coaxials before any of those components.

It's hard to just pick from a huge group ... so much better to hear them, when you can.
That said, I bought Alpine components jumping full in (started with 1 set, added another) without even hearing them and I was happy.

I would just compare technology (newer better in this case? I dunno) and see what FITS ... make sure the thing fits! Some have different size tweeters especially, just watch that.

I don't know any stand out in the bunch and with today's market, you're probably missing about 10 more brands too. I don't see the "savings" though, if anything you might appreciate the advice at a local car shop ...
If you walk in with some knowledge about what you want to pay and what's out there, let them know and they won't rip you off. Helping you makes them money, not trying to cheat you.

Troll the classifieds if you can wait. I picked up a set of ID xs65's for $140 which would eat any of those sets for lunch. Just have to be diligent on the forums.

This is true too. Alpines were eBay refurbished / open box and my JBL's were off here, demo vehicle (so I'm told). Keep your eyes peeled if you have time.

Boxing day is coming

I would just piece together my own components from solen or used drivers. Silverflutes are pretty decent for the dollar. Combine it with a cheap set of tweeter and your good!

best buy shut down its car audio department so many of them are clearing out there component speakers...if you are lucky enough to find a best buy that hasnt tranferred its car audio to futureshop already you may be able to listen to and purchase something in that price range....this is all assuming you are in ontario as im not sure if the best buys in other provinces are doing the same. I picked up many speaker enclosures and installation accessories for dirt cheap as well as a set of Pioneer TS-D1720 6.5" components(75$)
