Setting Gain on RF 1000bd
#1
I just installed my RF 1000bd amp yeasterday but i dont know how to set the gain, especially since the amp has the remote bass ****.
Im running 2 12" Lightning Audio Strike 4ohm DVC's for now until I build a box for my 12" Eclipse Tit.
I have them wired ay 4ohm. My deck has a sub level adjustment on it aswell.. should i set it to the lowest or leave it in the middle somewhere?

"Remote bass ****" is not a gain but a 45hz boost ****...set the gain as you would any other amp...someone else will have to run you through the procedure...but set the 45hz boost at half (if you think you need it) and then do your gains... you can then increase the 45hz band up or down as you see fit...
I actually added a remote gain control in addition to the 45hz boost on my RF 1500 bd...I can control both 45hz and sub volume from the front of the car...
