Setting X-Over and Parametric EQ

So I just got part of my system installed. Turns out the doors are too shallow to fit my Alpine Type Xs so I'm stuck with the speakers I've got in there. The front speakers are however hooked up to an amp and I've now got 2 subs as well as a new head unit.

So what I want to do is just have basic settings in my crossovers and parametric EQ in the deck to last me until I get new front speakers in 2-3 weeks. I don't want to spend hours tuning and clearly I don't expect it to be perfect based on that. I just want something to get me by until I get my new speakers.

I have an eclipse cd7000 which offers me either a 7 or 11 band eq depending on my speaker setup in the unit. I have a 94' Toyota Corolla and my subs are in a box in the trunk. Any help would be appreciated as most websites are giving painstaking and long steps to tune everything perfectly which is not what I want based on this being a temporary thing (a month max).

Crossover: Subs: 70hz Doors: 125hz or as low as they will tolerate

EQ: You have to hear it to set it..

I set the speakers to 160hz I believe as it sounded best as far as I could tell. The subs are currently at 70 or 80hz I believe. What about the slope?

I realize every car and every system is different but I'm horrible when it comes to this kind of thing. I don't have an ear for tuning in any which way unless it's noticing very obvious distortion. I just want something better than flat at this point, I don't expect it to be perfect.

From that point I need to figure out why the bass is decent on the really bassy songs and almost non existant in others. I've heard how these can pound but how the installers tuned it, it just isn't working for me. I don't understand how I can get loud rolling bass from some tracks and none on others. Out of my 60 track CD maybe 5 of them had great bass.

These are the settings for my amp currently. I remember that before the gain wasn't even past half and it was bassier from what the previous owner told me and it felt a lot bassier too. Here is a picture, any help would be great :)
