Which setup

... would be louder? I don't care about sound quality anymore. In my Alero trunk I'd like to use either: 2 btl 12's in a slot port (87sqin) all facing foreward with 16-17" from the back of the magnet to the back of the box (is this too much?), or 2 15" btls upfire with an 11" aeroport going through the middle of the back seat (7-8" from the back of the magnet to the box and 6-8" from the aeroport to the front seat). The 12's get 5cf3 after displacements and the 15's get 8cf3, 36-37hz for the 12's and whatever I want for the 15's, probably 32. Both on 5kw. I wanted to look back and see the woofers going but if I can get "way" louder with 15's I'll do that instead. I see dampening as the only problem with the 12's. Thanks.

Also considering 2 RE XXXv4 15's sealed on 4-5k pointed foreward. RE reccommends 2.1cf3 each, does that sound right? Box would be built in the trunk 37x20x15 = 4.74cf3 which is perfect (2.1 each after displacement), it'll also take up only half my trunk. How many batts will I need if I have a high output alt? Subs should be 3.25" from the back part of the box, is that enough? I'd like to run sealed just to skip the headaches, I like playing with 20-40hz tones and don't want to break stuff. Can I find out the tuning of that box?

Termlab price is $649 I don't care how loud I am anymore lol. I'll get my XXXV3 reconed to an 18 and call it a day, less weight and no stupid extra batteries.
