its a sad day for me my legendary usa-400x has blown up :'(

anyone know if they still fix them and if theyve had one fixed before?

I talked to us amps about a yr ago about fixing a blown 2000x I have. They said as long as the board is ok they can. it was a $300 flat rate, no matter what was wrong with it... 1 resistor or all components. But that was a yr ago, lol

If you decide not to get it fixed and wanna get rid of the paper weight, let me know...

 

that's a historic peice, really sucks that it broke.

GOOD NEWS! my amps not totally dead... i got my amp taken apart on the weekend and found a capictor that had broken off... hence y it stopped working... now to have it fixed will be 10 bucks!!!! whoop makes my day better

 

well if you decide not to fix it i will double your fix value and give you 20 bucks for it..lol..

 

Send it to Zed !! He'll fix it for a reasonable cost.

 

HMM I have a pair of burnt board 2000x's, is there a contact for Zed???

 

the guy ordering the parts for me would do it for $5 long as theres nothing else needing to be fixed(soldering wise)

and far as selling it if i dont fix it... never going to happen lol... i could use a good paper weight :P
