For $350 that's not too bad, it won't be knock the neighbours over loud, but if you just need some boom in the old drivebox, it'll do the trick nicely. Please don't try to impress friends with it though, just drive with it nonchalantly. Otherwise buy a mach5 sub or 2, build you own box ($100-150) and find a moderate amp to power it with. Around the same price but you will get a slightly better sub, can design the box to your liking and size, and will learn a thing or 2. Enjoy!

Also, if you are getting this from Visions or some other retailer, try to talk them down 30%. Go into the store with exactly 70% the total worth in cash and tell them that set is all you want and it's all the money you will be able to cough up for a few weeks atleast. Save yourself some dough.

There's the after effects to look forward to as well - as in 'I built this and it is way better than any prefab out there'...

I get a kick out of some of the marketing speak from these companies tho. "LXtended voice coil"? Gimme a break...

Best,
Mark
