show Q

in a show would i get points off for haveing a fuse on my neg wire going to my battery ?
i need to add onto my neg wire that runs form my battery to the amps .i need 12" more wire
i was thinking of adding a fuse nere my amps giveing me a way to add on
would this be bad ?

There would no point in fusing a GND connection, you can get couplers for various gauges of power wire, that's what I would do, and put a length of heatshrink over it to protect it. even distro block would get you what you need. I am not 100% of all the rules, but I would be very surprised if that got you any points...

I know stinger makes them for 4 AWG, so I would assume they make them for 0 as well, but if they don't I'm sure another install accesory company does.

no problem, they should work well, but if it were me, and it was such a problem and needed that extra foot of wire, I'd run another line.

my wire is under the suv
i had it up on a host for 6hrs to do it the 1st time

At some point you would likely lose points or at least have to explain why you have a fuse in the ground cable. Electrically it is no big deal but some people are dumb.

ok
if i do a clip (some thing like a quick undo clip) so i can remove the amp rack
good or bad
