Had a little time off work the past few days, so I whipped up an enclosure for the wifes car. Color didn't turn out in the pics for some reason, but its a close match in person. I have to fix the clearcoat, had a few runs, and bugs stuck in the paint.

So the R/T is your wifes eh? Mine too Did you pinch the fleece under the trunk weatherstripping so you could stretch it?

My wife won't let me take the time to put a stereo in the car :( So I ended up doing one in my Daytona :D I spend time on keeping the black paint fresh though. It looks better than most paint jobs do on new cars at the dealer ;)

I agree. Very nice job. Is that ID the 10" version? Sick..... Hey Wade, what do you mean by Veritas?

Veritas HLCD - one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard used the top end pair of these

If I had the room (and the $$), I'd use them

Cool thanks!

Thanks guys. The Veritas HLCD's are definitely the finest speakers I have heard to date when properly set up...sooooo lifelike, and dynamic.

Sux, I tried pinching the fleece under the weatherstripping, but ther were too many curves and wires in the way, I ended up just fiberglassing a mould of that particular corner and trimming it with my Milwaulkee 18V sawzall.

Jeep, the sub is the newest ID sub, the ID 10 V.3 (version 3). Very cool sub, sounds great for the price. For more info on the Veritas line check here:

So you just moulded a back half to the enclosure by masking off that whole area and laying mat down onto the trunkliner, over the edge of the trunk and then trimmed?
