Silly Q, do small open holes affect ported box?!?

Ive got a box. It's heavily sealed up with silicone and such. It was custom built to the exact specs of my sub.

Anyhow, its sealed and I am now moving it to another vehicle. I had it strapped in for security purposes, but do I need ot bother pulling out the sub and siliconing up those 4 extra screw holes?!? Would somethign so trivial affect a ported box?!?

Sealed is a differenet story I am assuming, but any input is appreciated!

any leaks in any box will affect.

why dont you strap it down in the new car anyway??? its still safer and it stops it from flopping around with bass or just a quik take off at a light

leaks aren't good for any box. It will make diff, I dont really know how much 4 skrew holes would make. If its not in a noticable spot shot some silicone in them on outside box.

Do the holes go all the way through the wood?
If yes . . . you'll likely hear it hissing (I don't know if that's the right word - but the sound of air leaking . . . )

It probably won't affect the operation of the sub itself, but you'll likely get noise coming from the holes. Best to just put some screws or silicone in the holes as has already been suggested.
