I have a 97 cavalier coupe. I removed the 6x9s in the back before I even stuck my subs in the trunk, because with them in there and the back seat closed, it would've either blown or distorted the out of them. My subs face up and a 30 degree angle forward. When they are sitting on my rear seat while it is in the down position, the car gets damn loud. When they are in the trunk and the seat is open, it is slightly quieter, no trunk noise or rear dash rattle. When the seat is closed there is no rattle, and it's even a bit quieter then. There, all questions answered. Also, you pioneer sub does not push 800w. Maybe when Thor, the God of Thunder magically wills it so, it might, but not today or tomorrow. That is the peak it can withstand. I am running a simple setup with 800w RMS, and have narry the problem. If you run into one I'll try to help you out.
