Well this question is all personal preference. But here is my list

Nakamichi
Eclipse
Clarion

 

I'd have to say from presonal experiance as these are all i've owned

1-Alpine
2-Pioneer
3-Sony

all 3 have have served me well

Panasonic

I've only owned a panasonic and I love it. don't go cheap on the deck though.

 

1- Pioneer
2- Clarion

I just bought a used pioneer, and it is great. no skipping, and loud as heck even on hu power. makes my setup much better due to the sound blending better with the sub. also i have yet to hear a "bad" sounding pioneer deck.
cant go wrong there. alpine is also another fav.
