Thumbs up The sleeper.

So today I was walkin pass this car on the street and a fair amount of bass suddenly jumped out of it and I looked up to see two kids stairing at me and observing my reactions to their loud music. It reminded me of back in the day when I thought I was cool rolling through town with my system cranked to full blast and every so often somebody would walk up to me asking what size of sub I had and how many I had. Then I started thinking how hilarious it would be to screw with innocent minds. Meaning, buy a cheap sub from walmart along with a tiny amp and mount them on the top of a box which is enclosing some type of spl woofer downfiring and with the real amp hidden. After that, hook up the tiny amp but run the remote turn on wire directly to the battery with a switch under the dash that you can flick on and off manualy. Then when someone asks to check out the sytem you can flip on the swithc and open up the trunk and crank up the bass and it will just seem TOTALLY UNREALISTIC seeing a tiny subwoofer barely moving while hearing massive bass. Haha, I dunno, it was just a crazy thought I had and I haven't been on the forums for a while so I thought it would be a good story to tell. Maby it has already been done?

Anyways, my box still needs carpet but after that I am 100% done. The idq is treating me great and for the price that I paid for my components I am SERIOUSLY impressed. The high notes are ear pearcing with out any distortion. And as for my whine problem, yup, still got it, haha.
