Small Review: Clarion DRZ 9255
Hey guys/gals, I picked up a DRZ9255 and have a few thoughts on it:
- clean look. The black chrome finnish is a refreshing change from the silver faced units out there, but I'd still prefer a dash-matching flat black faced unit (more along the lines of my old CD700)
- D/A is HUGE and looks very well built
- install is very easy, wiring very well though out
- interface is very easy to work with, but not as amazing as my old p9 combo (damn I miss those interface graphics)
- 18db/octave slopes are steep enough for most usages, so don't be scared off
- unit "sounds" clean
- built in x/o and t/a work very well
- remote is clean, but I like the feel a click when I push buttons
- has skipped twice on the horrible Toronto roads
- price/performance is amazing ... I'd say very hard to beat.
Overall, I'm VERY happy and highly reccomend it.

Sounds nice. But I'm not encouraged that the units skips from vibration. My DXZ925 has not skipped once thus far.
Anyway, hoorah for Clarion
And if you don't mind my asking, how much did it run you? Did you buy online, or authorized?

Other than that, I agree with the rest of what MB said.
