echo effect or space the sound waves out or both?

Father Yuli 05-12-2008 02:10 PM

i dunno. when i tried a sealed box in a trunk car it sounded louder and better firing into the trunk.

DDnut 05-12-2008 02:27 PM

Well it would space the sound waves out that I know making it louder to the passangers. But I wonder if it would have a sound echo effect like a SAS tube would have.I would try but my seats are not like that.neat to know for sure

amps are zx2500.1's
using 300amp fuses through out.1 fuse at each stage.4 per amp.8 fuses in totle.
this is just tossed in to see if the amps worked properly.now it comes back out to do the ports.then all the nice matching wire will go in.

yuli...yes they did sound much louder fireing into the trunk.i had them aiming forword so i could hear what they were doing.

Looks pretty sweet. Nice amps ;-)

Yea I was going to say, usually subs don't sound half as good when firing into the cabin, unless they are completely sealed off from the trunk
