So is Quart made in China?
#1
Is this the news on the wire? I had heard that only the future shop( or whatever chain picked them up this time , I don't keep track anymore) stuff would be made in China, now I'm getting different info. Along with quarts new line .( which will still be made in germany )
things are way different then they use to be in that company.
Anyone actually have the correct info, if this isn’t true MB Quarts getting a bad rap, if it is true wow look out for some changes...

Just spoke to Grant he said that Discus and above will still be made in Germany while Future shop is having Quart make one specific for them that will be the same price point as discus but will be made in China and will look cheaper.

I don't think the FS Quart looks cheaper than their other products.
Aside from that - does it matter so much exactly where a product is manufactured? Is Mexico Pioneer different than Malaysia Pioneer? Same engineer, same build sheet.
People get too hung up on the strangest things.

Some of the best built electronics/speakers are manufactured in China.
There are of course bad factories and good factories. The factories build what you ask for.....If you get hold of a good factory and do some r&d and have some qc measures you can have very good products come out of China. You should be able to have a product that has better material quality and more features for the same money as a product built in North America or Europe.
