Help me out, car audio newbie

I currently do not have a subwoofer in my car and plan on getting one soon. I am stuck between the JL Audio 12W3v3-4 and the Alpine SWR-12D4. Both would be placed in a 1.75 Cubic Ft. enclosure. The amp would be a Hifonics Hifi 1000.1d. I listen to a lot of rap so I do want a hard hitting sub but I don't want poor sound quality. Any help would be appreciated, just give me your opinion on which would be better, thank you!

12W3V3-4 - JL Audio 12" Singles 4-Ohm W3V3 Series Subwoofer (12W3V3) sounded good for the money, but when i switched them out for a pair of these jl 12w3v3-4 in a ported box and a jl audio 1000/1 pushing them...omg!! what a beastly combo..i have been doing car audio since the early 90,s and have many brands of subs and amp combos, this setup is the cleanest sounding and hardest hitting setup i have ever had. i would definitely recommend these subs..i think my next setup i will upgrade to jl 12w6,s.

Thank you very much for your input. Going to order the JL Audio 12 W3V3-4 soon, can't wait to hear it, it's my first subwoofer very excited!
