Sound cuts out
Hey all, me and a few buddies just finished installing a 12" FI BTL in a guy's car. Did the big 3, ran all wires, etc. We played it, sounded amazing. 2-3 days later when playing at higher volumes, both amps (mono & 4 channel) cuts out. Theres no more sound that comes out of them but the amps stay powered on (all lights are on, no protection light or blown fuses).
At lower volumes both amps play fine, but when the volume is turned up past a certain number both amps cut out. Only when the car is restarted do both amps come back on.
Any ideas what might cause this?
Set-up: Alpine 4 channel, Alpine speakers all around, Hifonic amp (3200wrms - dont remember the model), all 0 gauge through the car, 250 amp alternator, 1 red top up front, 1 kinetik hc2000 in the trunk. I think either an Alpine or Pioneer deck

Thanks Dukk! Both amps cut out at the exact same time. What exactly should I be looking for voltage wise on the deck?
DMM to RCA outs, and as the volume goes up the voltage should rise too... then see if the voltage just cuts out and goes back down?

kk i'll give it a try if i see him tonight.
But if the voltage was too low, or the ground wasnt enough.. wouldnt the equipment.. or atleast the deck.. shut off? Nothing turns off, the sound is the only thing that gets cut out.
