Sound Deadening!!

Hi i was wondering if everyone could just spill all they know or have experienced with different sound deadening materials. I want to do my car but Dynamat's prices are outrageous....and i hear things like Fatmat are basically the exact same...i understand that "dyanmat extreme" can withstand higher heat but i am only doing my trunk, rear deack and front doors.
ideas?
If possible i want to keep the entire thing under $150..but i'm flexible for quality

Brown bread is good as well, we use it all the time. As long as you clean the surface properly and apply it properly it shouldn't peel off. Brown bread is also cheaper than Dynamat, we have 40 sq ft. rolls for about $100.00.

i would definately clean the surface, is it less sticky by any chance...because i hear some aren't quite as sticky as others and tent to peel back sometimes...
also i have a 2003 corolla S and like i said want to do both front doors, the entire trunk and the back dash panel and possibly those rear beams, will 40sqft be enough. also where are you guys located, i am in burlington, ontario

this really helped with my choice. I chose RAAMat, but this site tests out several kinds. take a look.

...and buy yourself a 15-20 dollar heat gun, it'll come in handy, summer just isn't handy enough yet

b-quiet...you can buy 50 square feet for roughy $130...

I probably used 40sqft just on my front doors.. :dunno:

Should try using the Search feature - this has been discussed a few times
