Hey, did a search, did not find what I was after. I am looking at this amp, the Rubicon 1000-2, I think it is a newer one:

Are these fairly reliable amps, and will it make the power it is rated for? Did they have 2 generations of these amps, series 1 (1002) and series 2 (1000-2)? Thanks!

Not sure if there were 2 series or not, but the rubicons that I remember were all really nice. I never personally owned one, but alwasy heard decent things about them.

If you are refering to the on in the FS section, I'd say scoop it up for 200 bux hehe.

I have 3 rubi 702's .love em , the 1000 watt amp of that gen was the rubi 1002

so this must be the "new" rubi's from after soundstream went down and was bought by another company, so I have no idea on thier build quality now, but at that price I think you should pass on it and let me buy it [img]smile.gif[/img]
