The "unsolicited testimonial" given in that add is jokes! LMFAO!

I dont mean to be an a$$ but there is no ms2500. It is an mps2500 (2x50). The amp with 2 ms2250's in one chassis is an ms1000. I would love to get my hands on a couple of those. Actually any of thos ms and mps amps are awesome. It's taking quite a lot of willpower not to buy that Son Of Frank and matching xover, reciever and eq on ebay right now.

Original Symmetry, Alpine 3545 (they are so understated yet command so much respect lol), original Rockford Power 1000 and to a lesser degree the Power 650 and 300, Altec Lansing ALC-20 (72 knobs on that bad boy), the Frankampstein and Route 66 and the art series PPI 2350 with DCM1000 control module.

Also, HiFonics Colosuss(I think that's how it's spelled)

Audiobahn's 36" sub too.

Kilowatt, I've seen those Oz amps listed on SoundDomain for quite a while.

Hardwrkr, the 97.1 and 97.3 are both amps. [img]smile.gif[/img] The 97.3 had the power output of the 2100, but at 4 ohm stability. It was also rated for ½ watt per channel at 4 ohms, 2 watts mono.

I never even heard of the 97.3 but I got out of the loop for a couple years there. Sounds like one nice amp too. Sorry, my mistake.
And yes, I meant the MS1000 (midnight shift is killing my brain).

The 97.3 was a competition only amp. They "sold" 50 of them to comply with dB Drag rules at the time. This was when power ratings were used instead of the current classes. You can see how having a 5 watt system that really put out 5000 watts would be an advantage. There is a good aerticle in an old AS&S magazine about it.

The PPI 2350DM cannot be controlled with the RCM1000. It controls the DCX1000 crossover (was very close to owning one). The only amp that could be controlled by the RCM1000 is the 5075 4-channel amp (2x50, 2x75). You may recall that it looks like the old AM series amps.
