Measure your trunk and see your maximum dimensions, factoring in you will need to slide the box through the trunk opening. To make it easy to build I would suggest using a 6" aeroport which can be purchased here: Creative Sound - Product Details

You essentially build a square box and make 2 round circle cuts for the port and subwoofer. I can help you with tuning once you figure out your dimensions.

cool thanks man I appreciate it, I was kind of thinking of going with this design just for the looks https://www.caraudioforumz.com/attac...ine=1401983226
but I suppose a square box would be easiest to build?

I have about 19.5 inches height (max) anything higher won't fit,
so I'm thinking 19.5 height, 30 width, 15 inch depth, will give me 5 cubic feet, does that sound about right? or am I way off
for a ported box

19height x 30 width x 15 length gives you about 3.9 cubes net for a sealed box not factoring in port. It seems 2 10" woofers would be ideal in your trunk.

how did you get that? I plugged the numbers in two of those online subwoofer box designs
