Hi all...I'm new to this board AND to car audio.

I've bought a Sony CDX-M850MP....i know sony's rep but the deck had good features and it looks awesome for the price.

Now I'm thinking whether i should:
a.) get a component system and a small amp to power that, but leave stock 6x9

b.) power all stock speakers through the deck amp and buy a sub/amp combo (someting small..probably 10-12", 200 watts RMS)

What would you guys do first? My budget is around $650-$700

He is right. And say you don't have the skills. Doing it is the best way to learn. You could also get us on the board to give you advise or maybe people you know could help you. It's really easy once you know what you are doing.

Well like I said, I'm really new with this, so I don't have the skills no. ahha...I'd much rather have someone experienced (ie a shop) do it, so the install will run me like $150 alone...

Any recommendations on shops or people you know that will do it for cheaper?

P.S.
With good bidding and some knowledge you could get good used speakers, a sub and an amp for that much or less.

I have the infinity 605's and a US Acoustics 4050. They sound really good together. I'm keeping the 605's but I may sell the amp if the price is right. PM me if your interested. 605's can be found often on Ebay.
