The PG XS drivers as with the Xmax series of the same era published box specs were way smaller than optimal.

I would suggest 0.5net per 8".

hey thanks man do you know how to fugure out the driver displacement by chance?

Sorry dude. I kept the paperwork I had for the XMAX series but tossed the XS stuff as I was never really much of a fan of them (for the money in that era the Pioneer TS-W1200C/1000C were better performers and cost about the same so I sold many more of them).

The only specs I have left on the XS84 are:

34-1kHz freq res
150rms continuous
300 peak power handling
3.875" mounting depth
7.375" mounting diameter
16.5mm Xmax peak to peak
86dB sensitivity
1.5" voice coil
30oz magnet
0.4net sealed
0.7net vented

Again I would suggest the 0.5net design if you're going sealed though. Good luck!
