Sub speaker fluttering...

How could it be blown ? It is still giving tremendous bass.. I dont hear no clipping in teh woofer....
Maybe the frequencies is the problem...
What should I cross it over at ? Lowpass: 65hz ?
The deck is at 80hz..

ok..I went to go "pound" it for a bit... but now it doesnt flutter anymore... The woofer only moves when the bass hits.
hmm.. weird..
ps: what is ground loop ?

very well could be, do the subs make noise that isnt supposed to be coming out of them. Like making noise that isnt in the song? My friends amp did that and he turned it up and he cooked his subs. Probably wasnt his best choice

it's when there is a feedback through your rca's between the h/u,processers,or amplifiers.can be caused by difference in ground input(chassis ground)or rca ground(audiocontrol is great for this one).it sometimes causes the rca's to pick up stray "induced" noise.
try tapping your finger on the heatsink and chassis of your amps, processors, etc. and see if the sub moves(h/u @ low volume)
also try grounding all your systems components to one common ground.
