Which Subs?
 

Which is better: (which will have better SQ, which will hit lower, which will hit harder, etc)
2 Infinity 1230w's in a Bassworx Hatchback Sealed Box
OR
2 12" MTX's in a Thunder Box -->

If you didn't already know they are both 4 ohm SVC, 300w RMS

They will be running at 2 ohm off a RF Power T3002 amp.

my guess is their performance will be rather similar. i'd go for whatever costs less.

I would normally say the Infinity's. However the 30 series had issues with tinsel leads ripping off. If you could get the 40 or 42 series thats a much better driver.

Ok thanks guys. Would the box make a big difference because the infinitys are in a small sealed box and the mtx's are in a huge ported box?

A big, ported box will be louder than the small sealed.
