Well, for one I don't have the money. Second, I don't have the installation expertise. Third, I already have a great career that I'm basically set for the rest of my life with. Why would I give that up for a "maybe" like running a shop?

Defend it all you want.................I don't like etailers of ELECTRONICS (which I said all along..ELECTRONICS)............you will never convince me or many others that you are doing a service to people selling it....................

Do many people buy new cars online only ? Would you have your car serviced online ?

Are there people who can buy electronics online and install them properly and never have a problem.......certainly...........but I think the people that don't know what they are doing out weigh the ones that do and that is backed up by every forum in the world about car audio................they are filled with fools and hacks..........................

Err... Please go back and read what I posted again. I never said I don't have any install EXPERIENCE. I said I don't have EXPERTISE. Meaning I can't build the fancy moulded dashes or do the extensive custom work like you do. You don't need to know how to pull vinyl properly to be able to troubleshoot a defective speaker.

You're forgetting the biggest point I made though. The fact that I'm pretty much set for life in my current career. It makes no sense for me or my family to give it up so I can "live the dream".

So you don't sell electronics on your site because they can cause problems on installation?? Ok, but you DO sell LED's, switches, power disconnects, and fans. Tnose aren't electronic? Those can't cause headaches during installation? Those are installation accessories to be used by the same people I would sell an amp to. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

Looking at Dell PC's, eh? Well I used to work in a local shop selling and repairing PC's. Since the companies like Dell have come along that shop went out of business and I had to get a new job.

It's your money and I commend you for getting the best deal possible, it's what I would do. But please don't sit there and talk about how everyone should be shopping local for car audio parts and then taking away my job by paying for PC parts on the net. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
