Well, I would highly recomend staying away from whitby hi fi on hwy 2...there installers are good, butr there sales and owner is a joke. They WILL lie to you, they WILL overcharge and they will deny lieing to you when the equipment doesn't preform. They also will not return alpine equipment for warranty, they are a joke in those aspects. That just leaves ultimate car audio and custone car audio. I would suggest ultimate if you can deal with clarion or pioneer.

woah, the guys at hi fi are generally pretty good guys. i've dealt with them time after time, never had one issue with joon. as far as overcharging, you need to be aware of what the product it worth before you walk into any store. and i'd be more skeptical on their installs over the integrity of their owner.
regardless i would still go to custom auto radio for installs though. just be prepared to wait for service, lol, rick is the one man boss/sales rep/run the shop team. they have great products there and do good work.

Well, I would love to send him some great equipment, who wants to take care of his install?

I haven't had the problems you mention with HiFi in Whitby. They had the best price anywhere on the Alpine bluetooth adaptor. I bought a Toshiba TV there and they did my Imprint setup.
But if you're looking for a good dealer/install, you could try 'Sound Center' in Ajax. They've always treated me fairly.

MR2NR and stephenfleming have stepped up, I would entertain the idea of letting them do business with you. It would be a good way to support a Canadian dealer and make a couple of new friends that will take care of you. Just a thought.....

Steve knows his as an installer, I vote him

For some reason the radio is working again. I do not know what is going on. Thanks for the help so far. .
.
.

I do have some equipment that still needs to be installed on my 70 Cuda. I can still use an installer for that. (with no cutting of the door panel)
