I'd like some suggestions for 2 10's. They're going into the back of my integra. I want them to hit hard and not lag, since I'll be listning to all types of music. I have up to 500 to spend on the pair if necessary but I'd like to spend 400 or less. CCA noob here, 1st question. I did search this but didn't find anything really pertinent to exactly what I'm asking..

I'll be getting an amp to match the rms of the subs. That's not an issue..

Your leaving out a lot of info that would help your question.

What type of box, how much room do you have, what approximate wattage are you looking at. Be a little more specific.

For daily My Personal opinion is the kicker L7 if you are going to be using less then 1500 watts rms ,as the L7s take a beating with more power, maybe tell us what you want loudness, clarity .just my 2 cents

I listen to alter. rock and rap. I want the bass to be hard hitting during rap but not lag behind quick rock songs.

I've got a Integra hatchback; room for a decent sized box. I'm thinking of either sealed or ported. I'm not quite sure the wattage, maybe someone could help me out with that by looking at my goal.

What's your overall budget, amps, install, box included?

I have 1000 for amp and sub(s) together before taxes.
Planning to install and make the box by myself so the costs are negligible.

I've been thinking it might be a better idea to get 1 nice 12 instead of 2 mediocre 10's..
