Smile Build my own box

I plan on building my own box. I do woodworking and I'm equiped to make a nice box. I will need some plans when I decide on the sub.

I second the Pioneer suggestion. I prefer MTX myself lately but I can honestly say that in the last 20 years I have not ran into a Pioneer sub that did not at least sound decent or, more often, very good. They tend to make a very flexible woofer

Yes you have Paul, it was the paper cone doodie right before the TSW251C model came out.

well whatever you get, make sure it can run at 2ohm to maximize the power available from your amp. I like most of the brands mentioned already, and I believe good sound is available from all...if set up right.

I avoided playing with those You're right though, the ENTRY woofers were bad a couple of years.
