System updates
So I got the mid/tweet kicks wrapped in carpet and this will be there approximate position (and yes, I will make a nice baffle trim and all that to pretty it up):

You can see here where the factory plastic kick panel that has an oblong fresh air vent hole is located, behind and above the mid/tweet kick pod I made:

After looking into various options, I decided my 7" midbass will be going into the factory vent location. Here is a pic of the panel with the vent flapper door and **** removed:

Here is a shot test fitting it in the hole, along with the baffle ring. The final location ended up being higher up in the hole, because the mid/tweet kick overlaps onto the factory kick panel plastic.

And another. It fits in there with enough room for me to make a small panel with an aperiodic-mat to go behind the midbass to AP-load it into the kick panel cavity of the truck.

I would show pics of it with the supports in place but I don't have current ones of those yet.
And here is a shot of the amp rack coming along:

I have a few shots of the interior and engine as well here:

In the next system build-up I do, the kicks will be all 1 piece with the midbass where they are now, and the 4/tweet flushed into the kick cavity so they will hardly stick out at all. This is just a simple first system to get some sound in.

It's a Dynaudio.
Or was it Seas?
Maybe a Lanzar?
Or RatShak?
TangBand?
meh - personally I don't care what's on the label as long as they sound good. I have a stash of 1" soft dome tweeters with neo magnets on them. I honestly have NO idea what brand they are but they sound alright, and that is good enuf for me
